چکیده
In survey sampling, the use of auxiliary information can greatly improve precision estimates population total and/or means. Calibration estimation has developed into an important field research in sampling where plays role. this paper, calibration estimator for cluster with equal clusters have been introduced to variance aid and proposed estimator. Six distances measures, presented approach estimators are a simulation study conducted compare between performance against Horvitz-Thompson using R statistical package.

Finite sample properties of multiple imputation estimators
Finite sample properties of multiple imputation estimators under the linear regression model are studied. The exact bias of the multiple imputation variance estimator is presented. A method of reducing the bias is presented and simulation is used to make comparisons. We also show that the suggested method can be used for a general class of linear estimators. 1. Introduction. Multiple imputation...
متن کاملSome improved estimators of finite population quantile using auxiliary information in sample surveys
The problem of quantile estimation using quantiles Qx( ) in which the order of the auxiliary variable is di4erent from that of the main variable to be estimated, Qy( ), is considered. Certain new estimators for the -quantile have been proposed for any sampling design. The e4ect of this modi"cation on the standard estimators, ratio, position, strati"cation, regression and di4erence type estimato...
متن کاملFinite Sample Properties of Semiparametric Estimators of Average Treatment Effects∗
We explore the finite sample properties of several semiparametric estimators of average treatment effects, including propensity score reweighting, matching, double robust, and control function estimators. When there is good overlap in the distribution of propensity scores for treatment and control units, reweighting estimators are preferred on bias grounds and attain the semiparametric efficien...
متن کاملOn the finite sample behavior of adaptive estimators
We explore the finite sample performance of adaptive estimators in linear time series regression models. Our results show that for samples of only 50 observations, the 90 percent confidence interval of the adaptive estimator is 20 to 50 percent smaller than the corresponding interval for its GLS counterpart across a range of symmetrical distributions. When the assumption of symmetry is relaxed ...
متن کاملBayesian inference for the finite population total from a heteroscedastic probability proportional to size sample
We study Bayesian inference for the population total in probability-proportional-to-size (PPS) sampling. The sizes of non-sampled units are not required for the usual Horvitz-Thompson or Hajek estimates, and this information is rarely included in public use data files. Zheng and Little (2003) showed that including the non-sampled sizes as predictors in a spline model can result in improved poin...
